yoga therapy
Yoga therapy is a unique application of yoga in which the student, working in relationship with the therapist,
is given a custom-designed practice to improve overall health and address specific conditions, illnesses, or diseases.
Yoga Therapy involves no external aids but uses the mind, breath, and body to bring about a balance to the system.
Some of the tools used are movement, breathing, visualization, meditation, and chanting.
The student's practice is non-invasive, progresses over time, and can be used in addition to
western medical and/or alternative healing modalities.
Yoga Therapy can be successfully used for, but not limited to:
Active Recovery-Athletes
Repetitive Stress Injuries
Breath Limitations

"Holly Garcia has been my personal yoga guide for the last few years.
I was struggling with professional and personal anxiety at that time and my physician recommended yoga therapy. Holly came highly recommended and the rest is history.
I no longer struggle with anxiety or sleeplessness as she has taught me how to breathe through even the most difficult things in life. I know this may sound simplistic but it is not!
Holly has taught me how to remove myself from the madness around me and find a peaceful place through yoga therapy. I have also had two knee replacements and Holly customized my yoga therapy to work with me through my PT. I can do things that my replacement surgeon said I would never do again!
I am physically and emotionally stronger. I have a more peaceful life and have learned how to look inside myself for peace and strength.
Holly is a mentor, a trusted teacher/guide and a valuable part of my life that I will always treasure."
